This is a men’s black cashmere jacket with a Nehru collar made from a heavyweight cashmere-cotton jersey that’s knitted in England. The fabric has a smooth, felt-like surface which, coupled with its thickness, gives the jacket an extremely cosseting feel. The interior seams of the black unstructured jacket are bias bound with cotton satin, and it also features horn buttons, patch pockets, and side slits. The jacket may be worn with a white silk shirt and wool flannel trousers for a formal winter event, or with our black organic fleece tailored sweatpants and grey extrafine merino henley for a semi-formal look. The black cashmere jacket ships with our British-made cotton garment bag.

The design brief for this was: the comfort of a cardigan, the formality of a nehru jacket. The heavyweight black jersey melds the best qualities of two of our favorite yarns: the breathability and moisture wicking properties of cotton with the cosseting softness and warmth of cashmere.

Heavyweight, black cotton-cashmere jersey: 90% combed cotton, 10% cashmere. Bias binding is made from cotton satin with a hint of elastane for stretch while labels are woven from cotton. Buttons are 100% polished natural horn.
