This gold Nehru jacket was inspired by the age-old reverence for gold in Chinese culture, where the color symbolized power and prestige. Expertly crafted from bamboo fabric, renowned for its unique blend of insulating properties akin to ultra-light cashmere, as well as its sumptuously luxurious handfeel, fluid drape, and silk-like sheen. Designed in our Pegu Nehru jacket style, it features a clean internal finish achieved by stitching together two layers of the jacket fronts and flat-felling all seams to encase the pocketing. This eliminates the need for synthetic linings, allowing us to fully embrace the exquisite qualities of this beautiful fabric. The men’s Nehru jacket boasts two external pockets and two internal chest pockets, securely fastened with elegant mottled buffalo horn buttons.
