Made from high-quality Irish linen and embellished with horn buttons, the jacket fronts are constructed from two layers of linen held together by lapped seams, ensuring breathability and lightweight comfort, and making it perfect for both formal and casual occasions. The jacket also features fully functional button cuffs and clean top stitching around the outline of the pockets to hold them in place—a detail mirrored in the matching trousers.

The design brief was: “a nehru jacket made out of pure Irish linen.” Too often, linen suit jackets come lined, often in synthetic fabrics, which detract from the breathable qualities of linen. Linen is special: it has structure, but also softness, qualities which lend themselves to unlined, semi-formal garments.
And yet, the rationale behind lining a linen jacket is perfectly valid: to ensure a clean internal finish. So we lined the jacket in itself, which explains the working title for this style: “the double layer linen jacket.”
